WOCAH (WOrld Children and Adolescent Headache) Project is a three-year International Project which main aim is to investigate the comorbidities of migraine in children and adolescents, through an international collaborative data collection performed online. This will help us collecting valuable information not only on the comorbidities of headache diseases, but also about differences related to countries and cultures.
Headache and Migraine in Children and Adolescents are in fact commonly associated with other several comorbidities which contribute to the disability and the worsen of the quality of life of the affected children.
More specifically, migraine is frequently reported in association with psychiatric (mood and anxiety) disorders, atopic disease, ADHD and epilepsy. However, precise figures and impact of comorbidities on the patients have not been evaluated in detail. The purpose of Wocah Project is to bring information on these issues altogether thanks to a collaborative perspective and a real will to help migraine and headache suffering people enhancing their quality of life.
This is the first time that doctors across the whole world collaborate to get information about something that will be directly useful for their patients.
Our Youtube Channel is under construction.
You can find it *here*, but it's still empty: soon it will be full of tutorials and interviews to the main organizers of Wocah Project!
